Hello, I’m Syldee Brozofsky, co-owner of Envy Mercantile.
I was born in Traverse City and have spent my entire life in Beulah — a place I’m proud to call home. This fall, I’ll be entering my junior year at Frankfort High School. Outside of the shop, you might recognize me from my work at Papano’s Pizza or through my volunteer efforts with the Benzie Area Historical Society.

While I tend to stay behind the scenes, I love being part of something that honors the character and craftsmanship of the past. I’m passionate about preserving stories through objects, and I hope to one day pursue a career connected to history, preservation, or architecture — something that lets me continue exploring the beauty of what came before.

SYLDEE BROZOFSKY, OWNER

Hello, I’m Nevi Smith, co-owner of Envy Mercantile.
Born in Traverse City and raised in Beulah, I’ve been proud to call this community home my entire life. After graduating from Benzie Central High School in 2019, I pursued a career in public accounting, where I’ve worked for the past four years. I’ve since launched my own bookkeeping company and am currently working toward earning my CPA designation — when I’m not at the shop, that is.

Being a part of Envy Mercantile has been an incredibly fulfilling journey, and I feel so fortunate to be building this dream alongside my mom and sister.

NEVI SMITH, OWNER

Hello, I’m Helena Brozofsky — co-owner of Envy Mercantile alongside my two daughters, Nevi and Syldee.
I was born in Traverse City and spent my early years in Kingsley and then Mesick before settling in beautiful Benzie County in 1996. In 2006, I met my husband, Charlie “Bucko” Brozofsky, and together we’ve built a life raising our four daughters on our centennial family farm in Beulah.

Envy Mercantile has long been a dream of mine - but above all, my proudest accomplishment will always be my daughters: Nevi, Fallon, Syldee, and Hazel. They are the heart of everything I do.
